Winter is nearly over, warmer days are ahead and happier moods are on the horizon. Those of you familiar with SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) might understand the struggle. I am so thankful to see the first signs that Spring is not far away.
Spring also means craft and vendor fairs galore! I am planning to participate in two in April. Grapevine Design is working hard to get some fabulous new decor ready for these fun filled events. I will post details soon, so keep in touch!

I’m all about patronizing local businesses and helping “the little man.” I also like to save money and try to feed my family as naturally as I can, so I’m not a fan of pre-packaged foods full of preservatives. So I found a local co-op to buy my herbs, spices, seeds and nuts in bulk, and I recycle my old jars to store and organize. The designer in me had to fabulous up the jars, so I sanded, primed and painted 3 coats of chalk board paint on the lids for easy labeling. They turned out super cute!

Tomorrow begins another new chapter in my journey through life. At thirty-something, I am finally at a place where I feel comfortable with who I am. I have made many poor decisions along the way, but instead of letting the bad choices dictate my self worth I choose to see my worth through God’s eyes. He loves me no matter what, He knows my heart, and that is all that truly matters. I put my faith in Almighty God; I take the next step, and I trust that He will direct my path.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
